In a significant development, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has publicly confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is reviewing "tens of thousands" of videos related to Jeffrey Epstein, many involving minors. This acknowledgment came shortly after Bondi was covertly recorded discussing these details with an undercover journalist in a Washington, D.C., restaurant on April 28, 2025.

The covert recording, orchestrated by James O'Keefe's O'Keefe Media Group, captured Bondi stating that the FBI possesses extensive video evidence of Epstein's activities. In the footage, she mentioned the existence of "tens of thousands of videos" involving Epstein and minors. The video was released to the public on May 8, 2025.

Following the video's release, Bondi addressed the matter during a press briefing at the White House on May 7, 2025. She confirmed the FBI's ongoing review of the extensive video evidence, emphasizing the volume of material and the necessity to protect the identities of victims as reasons for the delay in public disclosure.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) had previously released an initial batch of Epstein-related documents in February 2025, which primarily included materials already available in the public domain. Bondi attributed the limited scope of that release to the FBI's New York office withholding additional documents. She has since demanded the full set of Epstein files for comprehensive review.

The revelation of the undercover recording and Bondi's subsequent confirmation have intensified public scrutiny and calls for transparency regarding the Epstein investigation. As the FBI continues its review, the DOJ has not provided a specific timeline for the release of the remaining materials.
